Textile Hand Control by Using the Device KTU-Griff-Tester

Abstract

The article presents the information about the possibilities and the peculiarities of the action of the device KTU-Griff-Tester. The method for the determination of the main parameters of the textile hand is described. The behaviour of the specimen cut from the knitted fabric during pulling it through the central hole is analyzed. The reliability of the presented device was proven providing the results about the changes of the textile mechanical parameters after the textile fabric treatment with the chemical liquid softeners.
