Abstract

The basic characteristics, structure and the realization of efficient human - computer interaction are given. Due to the raipid development of computer hardware and software, this human - computer interaction is enabled by user interface. Its site and importance in this communication are shown. In order to design a user interface it is imperative to know well the problems of the field for which the software is being developed as well as the corresponding programming techniques. Three the most often user interface design methods are described. The development of a user interface for the field of textile processing is demonstrated on the practical example of computer aided textile design.
