Abstract

The impact of the density of knitted fabric structure and properties of knitting yarns on rheological characteristics of rib knit fabrics was investigated. For the purposes of investigations samples of knitted fabrics with 3 densities and 3 different raw material compositions were made. The greatest influence of sinking depth and of properties of knitting yarn was investigated. All the samples take the longest time for stabilization even at the lowest sinking depth. The greatest elastic deformation is in 100 % wool samples that have the greatest structure density and take the longest time for stabilization.
