Knitting According to a Cutting Pattern

Abstract

Methods of jumper, cardigan, overtop and similar products manufacture on flat-bed double knitting automatons have been listed. Economical feasibility of knitting according to a cutting pattern, as well as raw material savings, depending upon the type of jumper and sleeve form, has been explained. The newest technique of loop transfer, so called split technique, has been described, and the most important control commands for CAD-CAM have also been given.
