Abstract

For a modern large circular knitting machine with one set of needles, with cylinder diameter 0.66 m and with the gauge E 24, an example for the projecting plain plush knitwear is shown. For knitting the core thread of the fineness 110 dtex made of polyamide filament yarn, and the combed cotton yarn should be used for the formation of pile loops. In one hour, 24 m, or 42 m2, or 12.5 kg of knitwear can be produced. Applying the technological calculation for a family plant with four machines, for the annual output 90 t of yarn is needed. The share of polyamide filament yarn is 20 % and the share of cotton yarn 80 %.
