Polyolefin Fibres - A Challenge of Recent Time

Abstract

On the basic of literature data a survey on polyolefin fibres is made. The study elucidates the problems of polyolefin synthese, processing of polymers to fibrous materials, the structure, properties and application of fibres. Here a presentation of current world investigations and the results obtained, but also the still unsolved problems for each sphere is given. On the basic of the achieved production development and the possible consumption, the trend of the future development is pointed out.
