Contemporary Investigations in the Field of Ergonomy in Garment Production Processes
Abstract
The organisation of the measuring system for ergonomical investigations in garment production processes is presented. It consists of the measuring system for process parameter measurements and a two-plane system of video cammeras. The measuring system described has been used to record the operation of sewing a straight seam. Computer processing of the data obtained resulted in process parameter values for sewing and the duration of the segments of the structure of the operation (sewing stoppage, needle positioning, thread cutting, presser-foot lifting etc.). Computer processing of the simultaneously recorded positions from the two-plane video system produces simplified skeletons and chained marks systems, used for the investigation of movement cyclograms, which are a basis for defining spatial and temporal boundaries of the logical assemblies of optimised movements essential in investigating interdependence in the man - machine system in garment production processes.Downloads
