New Scientific Programs and Projects at the Faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia

Abstract

The paper provides an overview of the new scientific programs and projects of the Faculty of Textile Technology of the University of Zagreb, which were created according to the strategic research plans in the Republic of Croatia and EU priority goals. After an international review, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia approved and accepted these scientific programs and projects as priority state projects, which at this moment is particularly important for the involvement of scientists from the Republic of Croatia in international projects and the use of EU access funds. These new scientific programs and projects for the field of textile science and technology will be the main directions of research in the period from 2007 to 2012.
