Abstract

Three new methods of computer input and calculation of efficiency in garment industry, based on the changes in computer network systems and bar code readers, have been presented. Original procedures of inputting efficiency data, necessary data bases and groups have been outlined, together with the manner of feeding the data into the computer system, and ways of performing calculations and analysis of the efficiency. All three methods presented have been developed following the specific requirements described, and have been tested and used in mill environments in Croatian garment producing plants.
