Abstract

The minimal application process for starching Chimgel-Sizing base yarns was further tested and compared with conventional starching processes. The process offers significant advantages in terms of costs, but optimizations that will allow further improvements of the process must still be pursued. In practice, 8 plants already work according to this system.
