Abstract

In the paper a survey on the characteristics of suspended transport systems, from the point of view of their programming and control, is presented. The properties of mechanically programmed trolleys, binary coding methods and computer aided control of the systems is described. A survey on the technical and technological properties of the most frequently used computers and elements, their mode of operation and characteristics of their equipment for the well-known suspended transport systems in the clothing industry is given.
