Abstract

The paper deals with research of Iodine Sorption Value - ISV as a quality control parameter for properties of cotton fabrics in washing. Sorption capacity of two cotton fabrics was analysed after 3 and 100 washing and ironing cycles. In order to access the acceptability of ISV method for control of secondary washing effects variation in preparation of cotton sample, reaching of a steady state and separation of cotton samples from the solution after sorption process were performed.
