Manufacture of Seamless Knitted Garments

Abstract

The usage of seamless knitted garments is on the rise. Flat knitting automatic machines are used for manufacture of seamless outer garments such as sweaters, polo neck knit-shirts, cardigans, waistcoats, skirts, trousers and the like. Knit underwear is not easy to make without seam. Rationalizations in the manufacture of knit underwear are reflected in the use of synthetic filament yarns and in reducing seam length. Seamless garment manufacturing belongs to preferential tasks of knitting.
