Abstract

The author discusses the theoretical elements of the appearance and accumulation of static electricity on textiles, the induction of charge in the conductor and the caused problems. The article presents the standardized methods and test methods for the investigation of static electricity on textiles. The possibilities how to prevent the accumulation of static electricity on textiles and how to eliminate it, are explained.
