About the Problems of Flame in the Textile Industry

Abstract

The storage of textile fibres and their properties are discussed, that in a way influence their flamability. The properties of some chemicals and auxiliaries, as well as fire danger in the production process are explained. An analysis is given of the frequency of flames and material damages during the period of five years (from 1982 to 1986) in Yugoslavia and Croatia and the share of flames and material damages of textile products.
