Higher Quality Knitted Fabric through Loop Designing
Abstract
On the basis of some theoretical assumptions on yarn consumption in a loop, three groups of plain weft left-right knitted fabrics from cotton yarn of 30 tex fineness, have been produced on a circular knitting single bar hosiery machine of E 17 gauge. Through varying sinking depth, samples with different yarn consumption per loop have been produced, as well as with varying other important knitted fabric structure parameters. The comparison of theoretical and experimental data indicates that it is not easy to produce knitted articles of desired structure and properties on each and every knitting machine.Downloads
