Development Trends and Applicaton of New Achievement in the Clothing Industry

Abstract

A survey is provided of development trends in the field of clothing technologies and clothing industry after the International Clothing Machine Fair 91 in Cologne. The development trends of new marketing and production conceptions and the use of logistic knowledges in the clothing industry are discussed. A survey is given also of the use of achievements from the point of view of computer technique, laser technique, ultrasound, bar codes, robotics, artificial intelligence and expert systems.
