Abstract

The author discusses the polymer blends of polymers and low-molecular substances, as well as the polymer-polymer blends. After a brief theoretical approach, the thermodynamic aspect of the formation of the mixture of compatible and incompatible polymers is given. The work is predominantly devoted to the types of bicomponent and biconstituent fibres and to the basic principles of their production.
