Abstract

Contemporary industrial manufacturing asks for continuous innovations and development of manufacturing processes, systems, technologies and quality improvement. The efficiency of these measures determines the chances for survival of many a business system. New manufacturing technologies and techniques, information technologies (CIM, CAD/CAPP/CAM-CAQ), quick development of the articles of clothing, acquisition of knowledge, innovation, flexibility and modem production systems constitute the basis of contemporary industrial manufacturing, their purpose being attaining advantages over competition and reducing manufacturing costs. Considerable advantage over competition can be attained by using software packages adapted to particular technological phases. Original, patent protected software package, verified in practice, is presented, intended for planning and monitoring garment manufacturing processes, which can be used, with slight modifications in technical textiles manufacture.
