The Application of Work Sampling in Garment Production Processes
Abstract
Principles of work sampling employed to determine time losses and upper allowable margin (GG ), as an indicator of the efficiency of the exploatation of working time in garment production processes, have been presented. The process of sewing men‘s trousers has been used to develop the procedure of determining employing work sampling, and the results obtained have been analysed. Time losses have been determined at 12.40 % (55.8 min), with the upper allowable margin at 13.40 % (60.4 min). The analysis has also proved that by employing adequate methods of work and improvements in organisation time losses can be brought to a minimum.Downloads
