Byssinosis - A Disease in Cotton Spinning Mills - Prevention Possibilities

Abstract

The article discusses the causes of byssinosis - a professional disease of the workers exposed to inhalation of fly cotton. This is discussed from many different aspects, including those of limits of fly cotton concentration, way of measuring and regulations concerning medical care of the workers as well as technical possibilities of fly cotton prevention in cotton spinning mills. Optimal air conditioning is presented at the hand of mathematical relations.
