Abstract

When dyeing textiles, metal complex dyestuffs with coordinative properties may be a factor of considerable importance. The configurations of metals, which frequently occur in such dyestuffs are discussed. A short survey is provided of metal complex dyestuffs according to the characteristic substituents with donor properties.
