Abstract

By observing art and technology, from the philosophic perspective, through a comparison of different texts from different disciplines, we try to find answers on two questions, concerning the situation within industrial and product design. Firstly, we are interested in answering the question, if we can reduce the artifacts merely to their function, and secondly, if the common point of art, technology, industrial and product design, anthropometry and ergonomics is represented by absent idealized human being.
