In the process of cellulosic fabric dyeing with reactive dyes, additives are added in dyeing solution in order to achieve the high-quality shade. The influence of additives on the spectroscopic characteristics of reactive dyes was determined by VIS spectrophotometry (350-700 nm). Three classes of additives (sodium-carbonate, sodium-chloride, the wetting agent Precolor-super) and three dichlorotriazinyl reactive dyes (C.I. Reactive Yellow 22, C.I. Reactive Red 5 and C. I. Reactive Blue 163) were used. Sodium-carbonate caused the hypochromic effect for dye C.I. Reactive Yellow 22 (8.4 %). Sodium-chloride caused the hypochromic effect for dyes C.I. Reactive Yellow 22 (8.7 %) and C.I. Reactive Red 5 (3.1 %). Precolor-super caused the hypochromic effect for dyes C.I. Reactive Yellow 22 (1.6 %) and C.I. Reactive Blue 163 (3.0 %), while in the absorption spectrum of dye C.I. Reactive Red 5 hiperchromic effect was visible (2.8 %). The influence of all additives caused hiperchromic effect for dyes C.I. Reactive Yellow 22 (3.6 %) and C.I. Reactive Red 5 (5.2 %), while in the absorption spectrum for dye C.I. Reactive Blue 163 hypochromic effect was manifested (2.4 %).Downloads
