The Future of Weaving

Abstract

Weaving is furthermore going to be the predominating technique in the production of textile fabrics. New weaving processes in comparison to the well known shuttleless weaving will not become noteworthy prevalent in the near future. The future of weaving is to be seen in optimization and rationalization of processes. The most important is data acquisition system being capable to communicate with the control of the loom.
