Abstract

The paper presents a successful practical example of wastewater decolorization in the textile industry in an individual stream. Baths heavily loaded with dyes are automatically separated for the dyeing process with reactive dyes, deposited in containers and decolorized using an organic cationic precipitating agent. The resulting sludge is separated by expansion flotation and the water is removed in a chamber filter press.
