Abstract

Scientific journals have the major role in the transfer and exchange of scientific informations. Today the availability of their contents has been improved in many cases as a result of Internet development. The paper discusses the problems of acquiring quality and how to find the way out of the scientific periphery of scientific journals from small countries. The solution is to achieve journal visibility and inclusion in the world bibliographic databases, based on some suggestions resulting from the experience of Croatian Medical Journal.
