Abstract

In this thesis a system for an objective assessment of the workmanship quality is presented. For this purpose the criteria for the assessment are defined. A clothing item (men's jacket) is divided into eight segments. The workmanship quality of each segment is assessed individually, considering certain areas of working process. The score is multiplied by the ponder, which implies the impact of an individual segment on the final score of the workmanship quality. The individual scores are summed up and the final score meaning the workmanship quality of the measured clothing item is read off from the table. The established system was tested by rating the workmanship quality of 200 men‘s jackets.
