The Procedures of Finishing Special-Purpose Fabrics

Abstract

A review is given of the procedures used in finishing special-purpose technical textiles, i.e. protective textiles, as used in TKZ; protective textiles treated with Teflon finishing, protective textiles treated with flame-proof agents, protective textiles with antistatic properties, as well as the textiles treated with antimicrobal agents. Methods used in testing the properties achieved for the above special purposes are also described.
