Abstract

The economic efficiency of rotor yarns is determined not only by the quality of the yarn, but also by the quality of winding. Accurate observations prove that many stoppages of machines in textile preparation, weaving or knitting are caused less by a fault in the yarn and more by a fault in the winding. Improvements in the winding quality on the rotor spinner have a far greater impact on the final product quality than the degree of uniformity or yarn strength. Therefore, this potential should be used.
