Italian Ethnic Culture in Jewelry and Textiles
Abstract
An analytical approach is presented to the investigation of the development of folk customs, costumes and jewelry in the 19th and 20th centuries in some Italian provinces. Ethnic legacy and the design of fabrics, garment and jewelry are investigated, with a critical survey of the history of fine arts of the 20th century. Indications are given for possible future investigations of the relationship of ethnic legacy and fabric, garment and jewelry design.Downloads
