Development of Processes of the Malimo Stitch-bonding Technique

Abstract

During the period of 30 years eight manufacture processes of the Malimo stitch-bonding technique have developed. In the paper the particularities of these processes and the possibilities of their modification, based on the manufacture techniques Malimo, Schusspol, Malipol, Maliwatt, Malivlies, Voltex and Finofur is described. According to the number and kind of components that are necessary for the manufacture of textiles, the production processes are devided into 3 groups. The possibility of the production of bulked yarns by the Malifil process is also presented.
