Better Raw Material Utilisation through Contemporary Cleaning Production Lines

Abstract

The process of two-phase cleaning with modern Rieter cleaning production line has been analysed. The main characteristics of the process have been pointed out together with the advantages in comparison with one-phase cleaning process. The advantages mostly concern: reduced waste level, reduced level of good fibres in the waste, increased cleaning intensity and level of cleaning, as well as savings in raw material.
