New Developments in Flax Processing in Cotton Spinning Mill

Abstract

New technological-developmental solutions for flax fibre spinning using cotton spinning machines have been presented. Possibilities of flax noil processing, cottonised flax fibre processing and processing of blends of cottonised flax and viscose fibres have been discussed separately. Key properties of yarns produced have been analysed and, in accordance with the results obtained, the advantages of new technological solutions pointed out.
