Dependence of physico-mechanical properties 1x1 rib-knitted fabric upon loop length

Abstract

Dependence of parameters and physico-mechanical properties of 1 x 1 rib-knitted fabric upon loop length has been investigated. Knitted fabric samples of various loop length have been produced on a simple haud-manipulated V-bed rib flat machine. Results obtained indicate that fabric parameters, as well as physico-mechanical properties of the 1 x 1 rib-knitted fabric, are significantly influenced by loop length.
