Abstract

When dyeing cotton fabrics applying the all-in dyeing process in jet dyeing apparatus, a high dependence of the percentage of exhaustion and fixation of the Celaktiv purple E-2G dyestuff (Cinkarna Celje) on the liquor ratio and pH of the dyebath was determined. The highest degree of fixation was determined when dyeing in the bath at pH 12 and with the lowest liquor ratio of 1:10.
