Development Trends in the Technological Process of Ironing

Abstract

The terms and the aim of ironing clothes, the technological operations of ironing and their structure are described. The trends of the development of ironic machines and devices are described, too. Some newer technical achievments in the process of ironing clothes, which were exhibited at the International Clothing Machine Fair '93 in Cologne, are presented. These achievements are the result of technological and ergonomic efforts as well as of today‘s circumstances.
