Foam Application in Textile Dyeing and Printing

Abstract

Advantages and limitations of the use of foam for both dyeing and printing of textiles are discussed. The possibilities of the water and energy savings and the criteria for the foam application are pointed out, using some examples of dyeing and printing recipes. This application technique is also compared with conventional methods for dyeing and printing of textiles.
