Abstract

The quantity of catalysts in polyester, which are added during the process of the polymer synthesis, has a decesive influence on some essential properties of polymers and fibers. Therefore, regular industrial control of this parameter is needed. The paper deals with possibilities of a quantitative determination by means of spectrometric procedures, neutronic activation analysis and polarography.
