Abstract

The direct formation of shaped products during weaving has become a reality today. Applications of this technique in the past were limited to technical and industrial textiles, but today they are spreading to clothing as well, so meaningful applications have been established in that area as well, and corresponding development activities have taken place. This paper describes promising techniques and products, as well as possibilities for future development.
