Abstract

The paper deals with the FAST measuring system for the objective evaluation of mechanical and physical fabric properties. The system measures fabric properties closely connected with the requirements of garment production process and finishing performance of wool fabrics. FAST - Fabric Assurance by Simple Testing is composed of three measuring instruments and one testing method presented in this paper.
