Abstract

Linen, cotton and viscose knits were treated with cellulase enzyme Cellosoft L. Optimal work condition: the concentration of cellulaze and time of treatment were determined using 23 Factorila Design. It was found that enzymatic treatment improves the appearance and handle of knitted fabrics. The degree of hydrolysis increases with the increase of the concentration of enzymes and time of treatment. Selected concentrations and time of treatment were optimal for cotton and viscose knits, while linen knits were drasticly damaged.
