Abstract

Recycling models of some untreated natural fibers (cotton, linen and silk) and synthetic polypropylene fiber are described based on their life cycle, which includes production - consumption - collection and classification - recycling - return to the market of untreated textiles. Waste textiles are divided into "unused" and "used" waste textiles. The recycling models are described in the paper and they are a guide for reasonable and efficient recycling of neglected textiles. The models can improve the economic benefits of the entire textile industry and be an effective approach to reducing environmental pollution. In addition, the models meet the demands of new trade protectionism and reduce resource constraints.
