Business clothing starts from three basic principles: comfort, adaptability to work conditions and use of easy-care fabrics. The paper deals with the problem of business clothing today, the role of a suit in communication and creation of company identity. Men‘s and women‘s business regulations for clothing are described. Fashion clothing is based on a paradox: on one hand it relies on traditional values and conventions, thus having anti-fashion feature, while on the other hand subjective desires of an individual should be fulfilled and adaptations to modernized business methods and fashion trends should be accomplished. “Business Good Manners” is used in the first part in order to give regulations which apply to the women‘s and men‘s business clothing in Croatia.Downloads
