Fractals and its Aplications in Textile Pattern Design

Abstract

Fractal review was presented as a visual interpretation of the chaos theory. Mathematical description of the fractals has been given in a form of Markov‘s chain. Fractal associations in nature have been described as well. This article has been illustrated with a few examples by the authors. Some posibilities for fractal applications in design of textile printing and weaving are presented.
