Standardization in the Field of Textile and Clothing Products
Abstract
One of the basic activities of the State Office for Standardization and Metrology is to arrange the standard system of the Republic of Croatia. Arranging the system means not only to replace the inherited and predominantly outdated standards with new ones, but also to introduce a new, differing standard system in according with the international and European standards. By accepting the international and European standards as Croatian standards it is possible to remove technical trade barriers and include Croatian economy into international and European market of goods and services. Experts gathered in technical committees for single standardization fields are to prepare texts of Croatian standards. In Craotia one technical committee has been founded for the field of textile products and activities connected with their production, care and use. It comprises only the field of activity of 5 international technical committees, and in future it ought to comprise the field of activity of corresponding European technical committees. Hitherto the translations of 6 international standards from the field of activity of the technical commitee TO 148 and one translation of the international standards from the field activity of the technical committe TO 38 have been prepared.Downloads
