Role of Standardization in the Technical Harmonization

Abstract

The paper describes principles of technical adjustments in the processes of globalisation, significance of achieving technical consensus (standard) in this adjustment and reasons of including the activities of standardization in the Republic of Croatia for the aforementioned processes. The actual state in establishing technical infrastructure of free standardisation with the newest numeric data of new Croatian standards is described.
