Appearances of yellowing of textile materials caused by storage - examination of the yellowing tendency of textile materials, chemicals for textile finishing and packaging materials

Abstract

After a brief description of the "storage-induced yellowing" problem, experimental works aimed at identifying and determining yellow substances and possible causes of yellowing are presented. The presented experiments were intended to provide experts in applied textile finishing with the opportunity to use simple means to examine the yellowing tendency of certain substrates, in order to be able to apply preventive measures.
