Internet-assisted Teaching Textile and Clothing Technology

Abstract

The possibility of employing Internet in teaching is described. Fundamental features, advantages and disadvantages of this kind of teaching are discussed, and availability and teaching costs are especially analysed. Possible fields of application and specific technological limits arc pointed out. The present state of Internet-assisted teaching in Croatia is described. Possibilities of such teaching textile technology, especially from the standpoint of the Faculty of Textile Technology of the University of Zagreb are discussed.
