Abstract

Development phases of Croatian clothing industry during the last twenty years have been discussed. The last phase, in which this branch of industry currently functions, has been given special attention, as it is distinguished by a significant impact of fashion design. The influences of modem fashion design on technical preparation and production processes of Croatian clothing industry have been described and possible solutions for solving problems noticed given.
